  • August 7, September 4, and October 9 Unity Consciousness and the Completion of the Ninth Wave
    Teleconferences with Carl Johan Calleman
    The Emergence Project is pleased to announce a new series of teleconferences with one of the world’s foremost Mayan interpreters and scholars Carl Johan Calleman. Dr. Calleman will speak on the significance of the Mayan calendar as we approach the important timeline marker of October 28, 2011 denoting the end of the Ninth Wave, a date which may also signify a major movement towards unity consciousness. Dr. Calleman will also explain how the calendar with its nine cycles of creation can be seen as a map of the evolution of consciousness as well as the basis for a new science of time. He will also discuss the acceleration of time that we’re all experiencing and how the Ninth Wave – the final cycle that began in March 2011 -- summarizes all the previous ones in a grand apotheosis leading to a new and higher frequency of consciousness.

    The teleconferences will be held on August 7, September 4, and October 9 at 7:30 EST. Each session will have ample time set aside for a question and answer period. Attendees can participate in individual teleconferences or in all three sessions.

  • Thursday, July, 17 2011 2012: Apocalypse or Epiphany?

    On July 17 at 5 PM, the Emergence Project will give a talk at the Hancock Library in Hancock, NH: 2012: Apocalypse or Epiphany? This presentation will explore some of the central questions that have surrounded the thinking about 2012 as the historical marker of a major world age. The speakers will discuss what ancient and contemporary Mayans have said about the current time period and why the Great Turning, as it is sometimes referred to, is an entirely natural phenomenon, influenced by major astronomical changes in our solar system. They will also share information about their recent work with Mayan spiritual teacher Ac Tah who visited the Boston area for a series of talks and workshops on May 13-15.

    Also to be discussed: why apocalyptic interpretations about this time are oversimplifications of complex issues and why this time offers a great window of opportunity for human transformation

  • Ac Tah: “The Time has Come” -- Returning to the Ancient Wisdom

    Ac Tah, a Mayan spiritual teacher and direct descendant Maya, is coming to New England the weekend of of May 13 thru the 15. Events are taking place in and around the Boston and Cape Cod. Working with our partners including the Boston Evolver Group, Angel Room Wellness Center in Cape Cod, and the Heartbeat Collective.     This workshop will consist of a talk and labyrinth ceremony by Ac Tah. Ac Tah will be sharing sacred knowledge from his ancestors derived from the Mayan Calendar. Many of the themes of his talk will be drawn from his book “The Night of the Last Katun”. Ac Tah will explain the nature and function of the pyramids and why they were built. He will also discuss the true Mayan understanding of the Mayan Calendar and specifically how it charts fluctuations in human consciousness throughout the long cycles of history. Most importantly, he will talk about how, using encoded Maya technology, we can rise to a higher frequency in the process of awakening.

  • Ac Tah --"The Man Who Talks": An Introduction to His Mayan Wisdom
    On November 30 at 7:30 PM EST, please join us for a special event - a talk about Ac Tah, a contemporary Mayan spiritual teacher and lineage holder by James and Mai Needham.   • Wednesday, November 4 The Basics of EFT: Getting Started
    We're pleased to announce a new teleconference in our "What Is?" series which introduces the basics of integrative body/mind and spiritual practices which can foster mindful preparation for the Shift. The second in the series is on EFT or Emotional Freedom Technique, presented by EFT practitioner Dominic Mogavero. As a healing modality, it’s similar to acupuncture and acupressure in that it accesses the body’s energy pathways but different in that it works by tapping on various energy gates. The teleconference will explore the basics of EFT and how it can be used to provide provide effective relief from physical and problems and clear energetic blockages.     Please join us for a special event, the first ever Boston appearance of sound healer Zacciah Blackburn, a Vermont-based intuitive sound healer, spiritual teacher, and energy practitioner. Following the theme of the “collective story of our time” in an age of changing consciousness, James will explore the frontiers of our contemporary awareness using the power of myth and techniques well known to indigenous wisdom keepers. In this experiential journey, James will weave together the elements from contemporary science, psychology and spirituality that can reconnect us with our archetypal identity as a culture and as individuals in a unique time in history.
